The Faculty of Arts - Al-Arish University, headed by Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Demerdash, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Muhammad Fouad, and the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sayed Ali, is preparing to finalize all arrangements for the first semester exams for the academic year 2021-2022, which will start this month according to a decision The Supreme Council of Universities, which is performed by about 1,367 students in different academic levels in all departments, while taking the necessary measures and measures to prevent the emerging corona virus.
Dr. Muhammad Fouad had directed the necessity of announcing the exams schedules in faculties, their times and locations before the exams start.
The Dean of the College explained that halls were provided to accommodate the numbers of students and to achieve safe social distancing, while providing medical and nursing staff in the faculties, preparing committees for students with special abilities and the presence of assistants for them, and using thermal detectors to examine the students and make sure that they are free of the emerging corona virus.
Fouad added that precautionary controls and procedures were put in place, in addition to making sure that the examination venues meet the established controls for prevention in terms of ventilation, social distancing and safety.
Dr. Muhammad Fouad stressed that the questions should be clear and specific and do not tolerate different interpretations, and that the time allotted for the exam should fit the number of questions, and that the exam paper should include objective questions, while adhering to the Babel Chit system in exams that measure the student’s understanding and not his memorization, and commitment to a problem-solving question. Which teaches the student to think scientifically in solving any problem, as well as explanatory questions.
